Spiral Wound Gaskets

The Spiral Wound gaskets are used instead of plastic gaskets (asbestos free, graphite, etc.) when working condition exceed temperature dual pressure limits and when gaskets with a very high elasticity in every working condition are needed.

These gaskets are manufactured by winding metallic stripes, V preformed, alternated with inorganic fillers. They can be produced in many different materials.

Spiralit® can manufacture spiral wound gaskets with diameters from 12 mm up to 4000 mm and over.
